This involves capturing Bayer data output from the image sensor, converting it to various image sizes (still images and videos), transforming Bayer arrays to YCbCr format, applying various noise reduction processes, and performing image synthesis such as HDR/multiple exposures, as well as various image effect processing and RAW/JPEG recording. By controlling these digital processes for captured images using the macro functions of dedicated ASICs, we achieve high-quality image output.
